The usual preference of our couples for their Wedding in Andalucia, is for a smaller Boutique Hotel Wedding Venue, some of which can be booked in exclusivity for 2, 3 or more days, thus making it possible to not only create an intimate and private house party atmosphere for the duration of the celebrations, but to also have free-range to decide on the order of events, decoration and use of spaces within the property or estate (gardens, pool area, etc), without having to adhere to the "rules and regulations" that non-exclusive venues have in place. The end result is your wedding as you envision it, adapted entirely to your wishes.
Hotel Venues are ideal for having a welcome party the evening before your wedding, such as an informal Tapas and Paella Evening or Pre-Wedding Buffet by the poolside, for example. A wonderful and relaxed way to begin the celebrations, as your guests meet each other before the big day and it also gives you, the happy couple, much more time to enjoy with your families and friends who will have made the effort to travel to Spain for your Destination Wedding. Some of the Boutique Hotel Venues, most notably the Spanish Cortijos, also have wonderful patio courtyards that lend themselves perfectly to romantic weddings under the stars. An informal farewell brunch or dinner the day after the wedding also adds to the atmosphere, and makes your wedding unique compared to the one-day events that most people have in their home countries.
Larger Hotel Venues are of course possible as well, but please be aware that these venues often have a more strict set of rules and you will be offered choices of doing something in their style of "A", "B", or "C" and have little flexibility. This is definitely not our style, but from the smaller, Boutique Hotel Venues and also the Luxury 5-Star Hotels in Marbella, for example, we demand a level of excellence.
